I liked the article a lot on Sunday, Matt. One of our (my wife and I) favorite cities, and we haven't taken our daughter there yet. Love when you write articles about traveling with Sasha, it is really helpful for us as I think our daughter (and only kid) is about a month older than your little one (she'll be 17 months on the 29th).

One tip I have for eating out alone with the kid - since I'm a stay-at-home dad right now and we also like to travel with her - is: Indian buffets. They work out perfect in so many ways: they are cheap, lots of variety, vegetarian options (we're veg), you can find Indian restaurants anywhere (I can't tell you how many countries I've had Indian food) and so far they have never charged me for Sophia, just for the adults.

I just load a plate for me and feed her off of it. And if she's in one of her moods where she won't eat any of the curries or veggies she loads up on naan. But you won't waste nearly as much food.

Though it is easy to over eat at an indian buffet, especially when you can take as many samosas as you want.
