Odd and Inappropriate

03_this_is_aint-432x600This came from my old Stranger buddy Phil Campbell–who, in case you haven’t heard, is having his book turned into a movie called Grassroots, directed by the wonderfully rambly Stephen Gyllenhaal (watch Jake ‘n’ Maggie’s dad contemplate Seth Rogen for the lead role).

Phil has a kid, and is obviously on the lookout for ways to mess up his little mind. Hence this link he sent me, which offers a listlet of strangely inappropriate books for kids, from avant-garde grammar scoldings to brutal fairy tales. Nice.
