‘Under Pressure,’ With Kermit the Frog(s)

I like to think that if Jean, Sasha and I were forced into homelessness that I’d dig up some of Sasha’s toys and turn them into such a great performance. Anyway, it’s late afternoon—enjoy:

  1. It is a pretty awesome performance, but it’s hard to get past the fact that this is a homeless parent trying to support his family.

  2. Awesome. I hate to say it, but I don’t think I’d be this resourceful. It seems that this guy is doing whatever he feels it takes to support his family, and that’s more than admirable. Good for him and my prayers to him and his family.

  3. I could totally watch that all day. I kind of hope it is a talented artist making a point from a great idea, rather than a truly homeless man, but regardless, I’m gonna view it as much as possible on the tube so that it gets lots and lots of hits. It is such a beauty.

  4. If you click over to youtubes:

“This is a performance meant to entertain and inspire.

    If you want to help…

As I said this is a performance. I don’t want there to be any doubts about my situation. I am a performer. I have a roof over my head and I have yet to start my own family. But this video isn’t about me. This is for the men, women and children on our streets who don’t have bright green puppets on their hands. The people who aren’t always as easy to see. This is for you.”

  5. Good to know, stormsweeper. My comment still stands, though: If I’m suddenly homeless, I’m going through Sasha’s toys to find some performance aids.
